i always found girls who were really bragging of the fact they are friends with only boys stupid. but this gave a pov into their own personal fight with being a girl in this patriarchal world. i feel guilt for thinking about girls and women as such, so i wont ever again.

i have come to appreciate girls, in every way i can. whether they are friends or not. i was ashamed of being a woman but right now. its the best i can be and i wont ask for anyhting else.

The "pick me" character we've come up with on the internet is a reason for this. I also kind of tend to judge girls who prefer boys - even when I was one! But it's interesting to look at it from this lens.

Girls are so special! The other day my boss (certified girl-dad) was telling us how he felt like "girls are so many things; they are intricate worlds in themselves." I thought it was beautiful. It's because we try so hard to balance femininity and masculinity in a world that prefers the latter.

I always love your comments! Thanks so much for being here and taking the time to write to me. <3

I love women!!!!!! The way we relate to our gender identity can be so complicated and you explored that gracefully and thoughtfully 🤍
